Located by a vast and splendid lake, Vanganga garden is one of the most important and adorable tourist places of Silvassa. There are many hotels near Vapi railway station where you can stay and easily visit this garden.
Here is a brief detail about the place:
• The garden is a bliss for jogging in the morning along the paved tracks as well as relaxing on the benches in the evening. One can enjoy boating on the magnificent lake for a reasonable price. There are small snack stalls and an ice cream parlour available for refreshments.
• The lake has a central island, which is connected to the main park with a bridge that has a unique and spectacular Japanese style of art.
• There are many 3-star hotels in Vapi that provide great accommodation, free Wi-Fi and lots more
starting from1300 rupees like Hotel Blossom, Ginger Vapi, etc.
• This garden is a favourite shooting spot for filmmakers and more than hundreds of Bollywood films have been shot here.
• If you wish to travel there by train, Vapi railway station is just 11.8 kilometers away from the garden and if you are on a flight, the nearest domestic airport is Surat Airport, roughly two hours from Vapi.
The park is maintained well. It’s a peaceful place to sit and relax and forget about the hardships of life. But on public holidays, this place, stealing all attention, can be very crowdy.
